Don't jump into a new exercise program too quickly; always progress slowly and let your muscles, joints, and bones adapt to the new stresses.​

When you walk in the door at Ridgefield Physical Therapy, you immediately feel comfortable. We are long-standing members of the community, and we make every effort to make you feel relaxed and at ease.  While our main goal is to help you recover from whatever injury or physical condition has caused you to seek physical therapy, we are also focused on helping create a safe pathway for you to improve function and gain self-reliance.  We achieve that by educating you about your condition, and teaching you how to self-manage your pain and properly execute the exercises we recommend.  We do this with great care and compassion and always with an eye toward safety.

 

Our team of physical therapists is highly trained and qualified in each of their areas of specialty, so you can be confident in the level of expertise and experience of your therapist. You will build an ongoing relationship with a seasoned therapist who understands your condition and limitations, and will set you on a path of progress. The continuity of seeing the same therapist for each of your visits is critical to achieving better results. Unlike many centers that try to get you in and out the door quickly, we take the time to get to know you and help support you through the process of recovery.
