NON-PRESCRIPTION PHYSICAL THERAPY: For patients who do not have a doctor’s referral for physical therapy, or who do not or no longer have insurance coverage for therapy, our team of experts can still work with you to recover from an injury, improve range of motion, pain-management, or any other type of treatment.

AFTERCARE: When your insurance company says no, we can still say yes in a reasonable and cost effective way. Our Aftercare program allows you to continue your therapeutic exercise using our state of the art facility, with oversight by our professional team. These visits will allow the therapists to monitor your exercise regimen and give you the opportunity to ask questions.

We can also assist in helping you return to sports or other physical activities in a safe manner that will not compromise your recovery.  We teach special techniques for modified approaches to activities that will not cause future injury or relapse.  Returning to work, sports, and other activities is a significant step in recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, and optimally should be done under the professional guidance of our therapists to make this transition safely.  In today's environment of limited insurance coverage, Ridgefield Physical Therapy supports your care even when insurance companies terminate your coverage.

 

WELLNESS COUNSELING: Wellness Counseling allows patients an opportunity to meet with our therapists for a half-hour, one-on-one session. It provides the opportunity for individuals to have our therapists evaluate injuries, provide feedback on current exercise programs, answer questions, and provide input into fitness goals. It also enables clients who don't have medical coverage, direct access to our team of expert clinicians at a reasonable cost.
